What did you do in the Great War?

National will is a reflection of millions of individual choices, and the choice I had made to this point was to simply stand aside and lament others’ decisions.
This point could be tied in to so many controversies in America. People are so quick to ask, "Why didn't the government do something?" or "Why didn't the government save me?". When the first thing we should ask ourselves is "Why didn't I help myself?" and "Why didn't I do something?"
On 9/11 there were people outside the police force and fire department that ran into the rubble to help. They didn't say, "Where is the federal government?" They acted.
